Janette (known in the practice space as Janetteji) offers yoga and embodiment classes that blend traditional asana with breathwork, kriyas, and energetic insight. Her classes are designed to help students reconnect with their breath, body, and inner rhythm — no matter their level or background.
She has completed 430 hours of yoga teacher training across a variety of styles and schools:
• 200 hours in Costa Rica at Anamaya Resort with B.A.Y Lifestyle Yoga School, rooted in vinyasa with an ashtanga foundation
• 30 hours in Virginia at Yoga Shala through Progressive Ashtanga Vinyasa, with a focus on rocket-style flow
• 200 hours in New York at Yoga Farm Ithaca, focused on kriyas, breathwork, and meditation for energetic alignment
Janette has also completed 100 hours of training in Human Design through the International Human Design School, including Living Your Design, Rave ABCs, and Rave Cartography. She has been deepening her personal practice and embodiment of the system since 2019 and weaves its wisdom into her teaching in a grounded, accessible way.
Her work is deeply informed by a personal healing journey. Through the support of Ayurveda, herbs, breath, and movement, Janette overcame a chronic illness and found a deeper connection to herself. In 2024, she traveled to India on a soul-centered pilgrimage guided by Gai Abalbi, where her calling to teach and share this work became undeniable.

Join Janette (Janetteji) for a class that blends yoga, breathwork, and subtle energy practices to help you reconnect with your body and inner rhythm. Each class is grounded in accessible movement (asana), intentional breathing, and guided awareness — designed to support nervous system regulation, clarity, and emotional release.
With over 430 hours of yoga training and a background in Human Design and breath-based healing , Janette brings a calming presence and a deeply embodied approach to every session.
Join Janetteji most Sunday mornings starting June 15th, be sure to check the schedule for confirmed dates, as she will be off select Sundays. This class is open to all levels. Whether you're brand new or returning to your mat, you're welcome here.
