The oldest of six siblings, Terri was raised in a tight knit community in Western Pennsylvania.  She obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology in 1988 at St Vincent College in Latrobe, PA and her Masters degree in Community Counseling at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA in 1994.  She worked in  community mental health and hospital settings in Westmoreland and Allegheny counties until she and her husband relocated to Hartford, Connecticut.  There, she worked at Natchaug Psychiatric Hospital and in a partnership between Natchaug and Daykimbal Hospitals to provide Partial Hospitalization Programming.

After moving to the DC area in 1999, Terri worked for 20 years at Loudoun County Mental Health in Leesburg, VA.  She was truly fortunate to do many things with Loudoun’s Community Services Board.  Terri was able to provide outpatient individual and group therapy behavioral health services, to coordinate the CSB’s Adult Co-occurring Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, to be part of the CSB’s Adult Drug Court, and to provide clinical supervision to many of the CSB’s therapists and clinicians working toward licensure. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia and is certified by the state to provide clinical supervision.

Terri manages her own mental wellness through her faith, cherished relationships with family and friends, running, cooking, feeding the people she loves good food, and by being with her husband and the many animals they are blessed to care for.
