Nutrition & Integrative Health, Tai Chi Instructor

Christine earned the Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Integrative Health, passed the comprehensive Board exam for Certification of Nutrition Specialists, and completed 1000 hours of supervised clinical experience to become a Certified Nutrition Specialist® professional.  She is also a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, and is licensed to practice Nutrition in Maryland, in addition to being qualified by statute to practice in Virginia.  Christine is a member of the American Society for Nutrition, the National Association of Nutrition Professionals, and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.

Christine teaches monthly whole food, plant-based cooking classes in her home kitchen. Due to Covid-19, her services are currently offered online.

Christine recently added FAI Tai Chi Instructor Certification to her credentials. She has practiced Tai Chi and Qigong for a number of years with several teachers.

Christine teaches the Yang 24 Short form, the most easily accessible form for beginners. She credits her Tai Chi practice with helping her to recover from a shoulder injury.
