John Howell-Stiefvater, LMBT

John was born in Atlanta, GA, but raised primarily in Sterling, VA. His first career path was television production, which he found a bit too shallow and unfulfilling In 1999 he moved to Sarasota, FL. He worked as a retail manager for a while until he discovered the career of massage therapy. Chiropractic and massage have helped him in his own life. A friend had gone through a local curriculum and suggested he explore his options. Thankfully, it clicked for him with the tuition, class schedules, and the professional possibilities. He graduated from Sarasota School of Massage Therapy in December, 2002. His first job was in a chiropractic clinic named “Thorassic Park.” He was a massage therapist as well as a chiropractic assistant until 2005. John then decided to move back north to be closer to family. He now resides in Winchester with his spouse, three dogs, and one cat. Throughout his career, John has been trained in many modalities. He pulls from his knowledge of each modality to provide the proper custom session to help his clients. After twenty-one years, he still learns new ways of doing things to get results.
